SERVICES
Peoples’ individual requirements for relocation help can vary widely depending upon their knowledge of Vancouver and Canada, the make-up of their family group, and factors such as education, life style and budget. Other considerations could include the amount of on-going assistance needed.
Our service begins with detailed analysis of the family’s various needs, and the identification and prioritization of objectives. We then propose a custom designed schedule for your relocation incorporating pre-arrival, arrival and post-arrival services. We highly recommend that you visit Vancouver before your move so that we can jointly explore the exciting and varied lifestyle options in this wonderful city. This would also provide an opportunity to cover a number of key issues that will need to addressed before you permanently “land” in Canada.
If you are interested in sending your children to a public school, it is important to consider the extensive range of specialized programs available in Vancouver schools. We will familiarize you with the public and independent schools systems as well as alternative academic programming opportunities. We will seek to establish residency in the catchment area of the desired school if you choose a public school.
Our services could include:
Pre-arrival Support
(following completion of a questionnaire)
- Analysis of needs for accommodation.
- Discussion of wider needs for support.
- Short-list of suitable neighborhoods and accommodation options.
- Arrangement of temporary furnished or unfurnished accommodation.
- Introduction to local tax specialists (recommended).
- Orientation tours of Vancouver and surrounding areas; if a visit can be made in advance of the formal move.
- Discussion on financing options should you wish to buy a home.
On Arrival
- Maps of the city covering public transport and useful public services information.
- Local orientation including tours of Vancouver and surrounding areas.
- Hands on assistance with the following arrangements:

Post-arrival Support
New arrivals to any city, including Vancouver, will periodically feel a need to seek assistance and/or guidance on a myriad of issues in the weeks and months after moving here. You would not be on your own; we would be there to provide ongoing support.
